Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using OpenReady's website or purchasing a report, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. The Service

OpenReady provides location intelligence reports ("LocIQ Reports") for evaluating a commercial real estate location for a specific business type. Reports are informational only and do not constitute financial, legal, real estate, or business advice. The LocIQ Score is a proprietary composite metric derived from publicly available data and algorithmic analysis; it is not a guarantee, prediction, or professional opinion.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reports are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. OpenReady makes no warranty that any location will be commercially successful, that the underlying data is complete or error-free, or that the LocIQ Score predicts business outcomes. The success of any business at any location depends on numerous factors — including management, capital, execution, and market conditions — that fall outside the scope of this report.

4. Limitation of Liability

OpenReady's total liability to any customer, for any claim arising from or related to the service, is limited to the amount paid for the report giving rise to the claim ($199 for a base report, $99 for a re-evaluation). OpenReady is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages of any kind — including lost profits, lease obligations, or business losses — arising from reliance on a report. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

5. No Refund Policy

All sales are final. Reports are digital deliverables generated on demand, and once a report has been generated (indicated by a report status of "complete"), no refund will be issued. If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on OpenReady's part, a replacement report or a full refund will be issued at OpenReady's discretion.

6. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. OpenReady does not store your payment card information. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge of the applicable fee to your payment method.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

LocIQ Reports are licensed for your personal business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense report content without OpenReady's prior written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to evaluate locations for illegal purposes, to submit false information, or to attempt to reverse-engineer OpenReady's scoring methodology.

10. Modifications to Terms

OpenReady may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
